Obv: Crowned arms (coat of arms) separating 'BB'.
Rev: Divided concentric circles, Exact Same Type Not Listed In Gomes/KM. Very Fine, Very Rare.
Note : The monogram of coat of arms could be specific to Bassein as it is different and the ship in most probability is St. Catherine's. The coat of arms separating 'BB' is a little different and can be a monogram specific to the Bassein Location. It's important to note since Bassein mint coin of the Portuguese the date cannot be beyond 1739 as after that Bassein was in hands of Marathas which was won by Chimaji Appa. The reverse has a steering of a Ship St Catherine's as Portuguese were sea fearers. The Portuguese captains then at vasai fort where these coins were minted wer Francisco Pareira Pinto, Dom Antonio Vosco D'Mello or Manuoel Gama.
