The dome shape creates a unique 3D-effect showing astonishing details. The coin has an Antique Finish quality and comes in a beautiful double-case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. The coin’s reverse features the domed ceiling of the United States Capitol building. Small and incredible details are what truly characterize this wonderful coin. On the top of the reverse, the inscription: “UNITED STATES CAPITOL” – the name of the coin. On the bottom of the reverse, the inscription: “10 DOLLARS” – the face value. The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. On the top of the coin’s obverse, the inscriptions: “SAMOA” – the issue country and “2017” – the year of issue. The bottom of the obverse depicts the Coat of Arms of Samoa and the inscriptions: “100g” – the weight of the coin and “Ag999” – the fineness of the Silver.

United States Capitol
The United States Capitol, often called the Capitol Building or Capitol Hill, is the home of the United States Congress, and the seat of the legislative branch of the U.S. federal government. It sits atop Capitol Hill at the eastern end of the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The original building was completed in 1800 and was subsequently expanded, particularly with the addition of the massive dome. Like the principal buildings of the executive and judicial branches, the Capitol is built in a distinctive neoclassical style and has a white exterior. The United States Capitol dome is the dome situated above the United States Capitol which reaches upwards to 88 m in height and 29 m in diameter. The dome was designed by Thomas U. Walter, the fourth Architect of the Capitol, and constructed between 1855 and 1866. The dome is not stone, but cast iron carefully painted to appear to be made of the same stone as the main capitol building.
