This beautiful Silver coin is part of the “Wildlife Protection” series and features the Sable, a cunning and elusive animal. The coin has an Antique Finish quality, high relief thanks to a new technology - Smartminting, and features two Swarovski elements representing the Sable’s eyes. The coin comes in a wooden themed box, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage to 2.500 pcs.

The coin’s reverse features an adorable Sable ready to pounce. Large sapphire blue Swarovski crystals accentuate the captivating eyes and the striking smartminting high relief, makes each strand of fur come to life. On the top of the coin's reverse, the inscription: “MARTES ZIBELLINA” – the name of the coin. On the right of the coin's reverse, the inscription: “WILDLIFE PROTECTION” – the name of the series. On the obverse of the coin, the Mongolian Coat of Arms and the inscriptions: “500 TOGROG” – the face value, “MONGOLIA” – the issue country and “1 OZ 999 SILVER” – the weight and fineness of the Silver.

Sable
Throughout parts of the northern Mongolian mountains, China, and Siberia lives a small, weasel-like creature named the Sable. The Sable reaches lengths between 13 and 20 inches long, and adults weigh between 2 and 5 pounds. It is a carnivorous animal, belonging to the Mustelid family, along with otters, badgers, weasels, martens, ferrets, mink, and wolverines. Sables are famous for their fine, soft pelts that range in color from a light orange-brown to almost black. At times, some Sables will have salmon-colored patches on their throats as well. On the black market, these coats are sold for between $50 and $1.000 USD apiece. However, in legitimate Western retail fur markets, a Sable fur coat can fetch up to a whopping $100.000 dollars USD.
